Cathy Bennett:

Cathy Bennett worked in the Cobb County Superior Court system for fourteen years.  She has owned a small business and understands the special challenges that this presents.  She took accounting courses at Kennesaw College which have proven helpful as she does monthly bookkeeping for small businesses.  Cathy is Zack's sister.  Cathy is married to Ricky and has two sons, Zachary and Drew.

Zack has also recently received from The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) designation.  The PFS enables Zack to better assist clients with their financial planning goals.  In 2014 Zack obtained his CHFC (Chartered Financial Consultant).  This is the most comprehensive financial planning designation. He will then obtain, in 2015, the (CLU) Chartered Life Underwriter designation from the American College.

 When Zack is out of the office, he is an avid fan of SEC football, working out, dining out, reading, and traveling, especially beachcombing.  Zack's firm is a family owned and run business.  He employs his nephew, Patrick who is studying to be a CPA, his Sister, Cathy and Mother, Betty.

Zack Carnes:

Zack Carnes is a lifelong resident of Cobb County.  He holds two Bachelor's degrees.  He received the first degree from Southern College of Technology in Industrial Engineering Technology in 1986.  Zack began working in Accounting in 1990.  He graduated Cum Laude in Business Administration and Accounting from Kennesaw State University in 1996.  He received his CPA license from the State of Georgia in 1996.  He received the Certified Financial Planner designation in 2004.

Zack is a participant in the Georgia Society of CPA's peer review program and is a member of the Georgia Society of CPAs and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.  Zack is also an Advanced Quickbooks Proadvisor.  Zack received his Enrolled Agent License in 2012.  This means he is licensed by the Internal Revenue Service for tax preparation, tax representation, and all other IRS representation purposes.
